Brody Klich, a 13-year-old from Wauconda, a northwest suburb of Chicago, has found a friend for life in Luke Goode, a University of Illinois basketball recruit from Homestead, Indiana. Luke and his parents had driven to Indiana in early May for the annual reunion of the basketball movie classic ‘Hoosiers’ where Brody was looking forward to meeting Luke, his current Hoosiers basketball idol. On the morning of the game, Brody had fallen in the hotel shower and was unconscious following an epileptic seizure. He received emergency treatment at the hotel by paramedics and later at Children’s Hospital in Chicago.
