Jackson Reffitt’s Father Pardoned

On the first night of his second presidency – January 20, 2025 – Donald Trump pardoned about 1,500 people who were charged in the U.S. Capitol attack on January 6, 2021.

Among those pardoned was the first one convicted and jailed – Guy Reffitt of Wylie, Texas, father of daughters Sarah and Peyton and son Jackson, who is now 22 and who felt obligated at the age of 18 to report his father’s insurrection involvement to the FBI.

Jackson’s father was a member of the Three Percenters, a far-right anti-government militia.  Jackson later testified in Federal Court about his father’s Three Percenters membership and his planned involvement in the Capitol insurrection.

As a follow-up to our MWAH! website’s previously posted story about Jackson, we post the following ABC  News separate interviews of January 22, 2025 involving both Jackson and his mom, Nicole.

Nicole Jackson had moved from Texas to the Washington, D.C area to be near her incarcerated husband.

Since his release from jail, Jackson’s father also has been asked by ABC News for his comments, but so far he has not responded.
